4-hour Private Caldera Cruise An unforgettable private cruise, which starts from the Old Port of Fira (or from Athinios Port or from Ammoudi Port of Oia). Once everyone is settled on board, we head for the two volcanic islands in the middle of the Caldera where guests will enjoy a close-up view of the spectacular rock formations.

While taking a slow cruise around the island to the Hot Springs, the skipper will share with you an informative presentation of Santorini. The first stop is at the hot-springs. Here guests can dive into the hot sulpheric water and witness the power of the volcano.

Once everyone is on board we head for Oia to enjoy the sugar-cubed houses from another point of view. Cruising past Armeni and Amoudi, the two ports of Oia, we head to the island of Thirasia. Here guests can witness the natural beauty, still untouched by time.

To get the full picture of the island, we cruise to the Red and White beach, where-after the skipper will anchor the boat in an secluded area. Here guests can enjoy a swim in the crystal clear water, whilst lunch is prepared on board, which consists of local traditional dishes. The menu incudes bruschetta, white eggplant, zucchini, tomatokeftedes (traditional tomato balls), saganaki, beans, stuffed vine leaves, white wine, beers, soft drinks and coffee at the end!

After lunch we head past the White Island (Aspronisi) along the coast to the Old Port.

Thank you for your recommendation of the private 4-hour cruise. The boat was in great shape and the Captain was professional and knowledgeable.
He brought us on a tour of the islands and crater explaining what exactly we were viewing. He brought us to the hot springs where we were able to swim by ourselves in the warm water among the lava rocks.
Then we were off to a small cove where we were able to snorkel while Captain changed into his chef hat and prepared a great lunch of traditional Greek food and local wine.
I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for such an experience.
I will also pass your information on to my travel agent friends.
